Since 2003, the City of Spruce Grove has sponsored and hosted an event called the Grove Cruise. This is a family themed 3-day event that is run by local car entusiast volunteers and is completely funded by the City of Spruce Grove and local businesses. Our mission is to provide the City of Spruce Grove with a summer festival based on the automobile culture. As we head into our eighth year we look forward to another amazing weekend.
The 2009 Grove Cruise was a great success. There were over 450 vehicles on Saturday at the Show & Shine and over 200 vehicles on Friday at Home Depot! There was a great turnout from the public too, with over 12,000 people taking part in the weekend events. The Parade was fantastic, with new and diverse entrants heading down King Street much to the delight of the public. We thank all of our sponsors, registrants, the City of Spruce Grove and everyone who stopped by to see the events, for helping make the 2009 Grove Cruise the best one yet!
The Grove Cruise has quickly established itself as one of Spruce Grove's premier family summer events. The 2010 Grove Cruise will be held August 13th-15th at the Henry Singer Ball Diamonds in Spruce Grove. We encourage every car lover to come out with their family and enjoy the many exciting events the Grove Cruise has to offer. The Grove Cruise includes a Parade, a Show & Shine, a Tailgate Swap Meet & Sale, a Poker Run, a Burnout and much more! New this year - a Classic Car Auction!
